Additional Training

At BAS we pride ourselves on the high level of customer support we provide; the support staff are always available to answer questions that you may have about any of our programs.

Additional training (billable at our standard rates) is available if you feel that you need focused one on one time with one of our support staff. If you are a newly elected official and your municipality uses our software, additional training can be a great way to familiarize yourself with the program(s).  We are able to provide remote or on-site training depending on the your particular needs.

Additional training is a great refresher for clients who may not use their programs on a daily basis and a great learning tool for newly elected officials. Please contact our office if you have further interest in receiving training from our office.

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Planning

firstaidMore and more organizations are learning the importance of having a disaster plan in place before it’s too late. We will work with you to develop a Business Continuity Plan to ensure that your data and your ability to function is protected.

   

Email Filtering

This service will re-route emails to an off-site server to prevent spam and other potentially dangerous emails from entering your network. The filter software will be updated regularly to add new definitions to the filter to ensure that approximately 99% of spam is blocked. This will save you significant remedial effort to investigate and correct many related computer problems.

 

Internet Backup

backupUsing an automated system BAS will implement an electronic transfer of your data via the internet to a remote location for safekeeping so that your data is secure and readily available in the event of a disaster.

In January of 2009, the Town of Victor installed a new water software program from BAS. The Town of Victor has approximately 4,000 water customers. Therefore, we were looking for a very efficient, user friendly program, with exceptional customer service.

BAS offered an up-to-date software program with many useful options. The bar code scan feature cuts the time it takes to enter payments in half. Another great feature of this software is the ability to reprint bills during a billing cycle. The ease in maintaining and changing ownership and meter information for water accounts has been very valuable. The ability to print bills in zip code order has made sorting for bulk mailing time effective. There is also an option to maintain work orders for each property, which makes troubleshooting possible meter problems much easier.

Along with all the great software options, the customer service from BAS is exceptional. Any time we need assistance they are able to immediately address our problems. They work efficiently and effectively with our IT support staff, meter vendors and our office to ensure that all problems are resolved. There have been occasions where the BAS staff has worked weekends and overtime just to make sure all operations were running smoothly. They are incredibly loyal to their customers and go above and beyond to ensure they are satisfied.
