In January of 2009, the Town of Victor installed a new water software program from BAS. The Town of Victor has approximately 4,000 water customers. Therefore, we were looking for a very efficient, user friendly program, with exceptional customer service.

BAS offered an up-to-date software program with many useful options. The bar code scan feature cuts the time it takes to enter payments in half. Another great feature of this software is the ability to reprint bills during a billing cycle. The ease in maintaining and changing ownership and meter information for water accounts has been very valuable. The ability to print bills in zip code order has made sorting for bulk mailing time effective. There is also an option to maintain work orders for each property, which makes troubleshooting possible meter problems much easier.

Along with all the great software options, the customer service from BAS is exceptional. Any time we need assistance they are able to immediately address our problems. They work efficiently and effectively with our IT support staff, meter vendors and our office to ensure that all problems are resolved. There have been occasions where the BAS staff has worked weekends and overtime just to make sure all operations were running smoothly. They are incredibly loyal to their customers and go above and beyond to ensure they are satisfied.

This year, BAS had another fantastic trip to the Association of Towns Annual Meeting held at the Hilton in NYC on Feb 14th-16th, 2010.

A sincere thank you to everyone who visited us at our vendor booth; it is always a genuine pleasure to talk with our customers and prospective clients at this event.  As you know, a great deal of how we support our customers throughout the course of a typical workday/week is done directly via a phone conversation or remote assistance through an internet connection. This meeting has always been an excellent opportunity to have the personal “face to face” interaction as well!

Our vendor booth was located at #38 & #39 and this year the BAS contingent consisted of Rick Foggo, Sandi Kammerer, Lori Thompson and myself (George was not feeling well and was unable to attend). We appreciate all of the kind words regarding our software and support services, as we work very hard to deliver high quality software and the best possible customer support, to serve you the way you expect, quickly and professionally with trust, integrity and commitment!
